Originally a turn of the century country estate, Michillinda Lodge is
situated on a broad expanse of wooded land atop a bluff overlooking
Lake Michigan just south of Whitehall, Michigan. Comfortable style and

Whether you’re relaxing with a day on the beach, or enjoying one of the
many activities at Michillinda, you will feel the comforts of home from
the moment you arrive. There are guest rooms available for any size
family, with many rooms having a majestic view of Lake Michigan.
Michillinda Lodge offers 52 guest rooms and suites, all with
private bath, and many with private decks and majestic views of Lake
Michigan. Michillinda Lodge continues to renovate rooms to ensure
comfort while preserving its historic character.
The
hotel features an on-site meeting centers that are perfect for any
occasion. It is the perfect location for an intimate or large wedding,
Corporate event, Christmas or staff function, Family reunion or any
type of group event. We can customize your meeting or group package any
way you like and offer on site catering!
You can enjoy cocktails on the deck as you watch the sunset over
Lake Michigan, or sit by the fire in the Gathering Room. Sample our
extensive menu, along with our wine and drink list in either our main
Dinning room, Surfroom or outside deck, all seating areas overlook Lake
Michigan. Engulfed in the aromas of a home cooked meal, you will enjoy
our chef-created specialties proudly prepared and served with our
guests in mind. You'll also take part in one of Michillinda
long-standing traditions... cookies at sunset! Enjoy fresh baked
cookies and coffee as you reflect on the events of your day, meet other
Michillinda guests, and view a majestic Lake Michigan sunset. In
addition, the Surfroom offers Lakeside dining for private parties for
up to 40 people. Our dining room is open all year round, with dining
times changing from season to season, please call for reservations and
times.
All lodging rates include breakfast served in our lakefront dining
room, lunch and dinner are available in the dining room overlooking
Lake Michigan. Lunch is available at our snack bar overlooking Lake
Michigan.
