Weddings At the Lodge

The same comfortable style and gracious hospitality that have welcomed families at Michillinda for years are available to you and your wedding guests. Since guests pay for their own rooms, a destination wedding at Michillinda can be surprisingly affordable for parties of any size.

Site Fees: Includes Michillinda's own beautiful white event tent or dining room* for the reception, and the rehearsal dinner if needed. It also includes tables covered in white linens, chairs, china place settings, water goblets, silverware, wine glasses, champagne glasses, a 20' by 20' dance floor, taste testing up to six people, and professional servers and chefs dressed in black and white attire. Also includes the Lodge's famous Lake Michigan overlook cermony site on the bluff of Lake Michigan.
Total site fee for all above - $3,000
Add $3 per guest chair rental for the ceremony site if needed. Add $5 per guest chair rental for the ceremony site if it is on the beach.

Reception Meal: $60 per person - $65 per person plated
Includes complete hosted bar, four hors d' oeuvres, champagne toast before dinner, cake cutting and service.
Complete hosted bar includes your choice of five liquors, three domestic beers, two imported beers or malt liquors, two wines and one champagne. Additional fee of $75 for each bartender per 75 guests.

Room Charges: $150 per room per night
Special Wedding rates apply only to those rooms reserved with a non-refundable or transferable deposit at the time the wedding is booked. Normal Lodge room rates apply to later additions. Room charges are based on two adults, add $50 for each additional adult and $25 for children. These rates also include breakfast each morning.
A service charge of 10%, sales tax of 6%, and 5% county room tax will be added to all lodging charges, please inform guests.

Additional Notes:
*During high season, Memorial Day through Labor Day, you must book all fifty-two rooms in the Lodge in order to use the dining room due to our other guests.
